Emory, Harvard, Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford and Yale.

Application Due: March 29, 2010
  • Junior in high school
  • GPA
  • Class rank (prefer top 10% of class)
  • Advanced courses in high school
  • Test scores
  • Essay
  • Teacher recommendation
  • Family income (generally between $0-$60,000) based on number in household and individual circumstances

Native American Jounalism Association Project Phoenix

The Native American Journalism Association offers a summer journalism experience for high school students.  This year the Project Phoenix, along with the annual NAJA conference, will be held in Minneapolis July 21-24.

An elite program that specializes in American Indian studies.  An honors program that is featured on your high school transcript, and can be highlighted on your resume.  A distinction that sets you apart from other students, and will be useful when applying for college scholarship and grants.
